• Protective packaging helps reduce stress during transportation
Why We Ship Rooted in Soil
Many sellers ship bare root.
We ship every Variegated String of Hearts rooted in soil to help:
• Reduce transplant shock
• Protect delicate roots
• Minimize stress during shipping
• Help your plant acclimate more successfully to its new home
When your plant arrives, it only has to adjust to its new environment—not recover from repotting at the same time.
Care Guide
Light:
Bright, indirect light. A few hours of direct morning sun can help maintain vibrant pink variegation. Protect from prolonged, intense afternoon sun, especially during hot weather.
Water:
Water thoroughly when the top half of the potting mix has dried. Avoid keeping the soil constantly wet or allowing it to remain completely dry for extended periods.
Soil:
Well-draining succulent or cactus mix.
Temperature:
Thrives between 60–85°F.
Protect from frost.
Pet Safe:
Yes!
Please note that Plant care varies by environment.
Our recommendations are intended as a starting point. Factors such as your climate, season, indoor conditions, potting mix, and available light can all affect how often your plant needs water and how much light it can tolerate.
Mature Growth
As the vines continue to grow, Variegated String of Hearts develops long cascading stems that can trail several feet over time.
Small pink lantern-like flowers may appear when the plant is mature and growing happily.
Cold Weather Shipping
We highly recommend purchasing heat pack(s) when temperatures along the shipping route are below 50°F.
Plants traveling without a heat pack during freezing temperatures are not covered for cold damage.
Heat packs can be added here.
Please Note
• Plants are living things and naturally vary in color, fullness, and vine length.
• Listing photos represent the current batch.
